This Privacy Policy, formed in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000(hereinafter IT Act), Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (hereinafter DPDP Act), General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter GDPR)and related rules, outlining our commitment to privacy. The terms "we / us / our / platform / TRuPact", refer to the service provider.; and the terms "you / your / yourself / user" refer to any legal person or entity accessing the platform. Reading this Policy is essential. Your platform usage implies understanding, agreement, and consent to its terms.
Consent is defined under Section 13 of the Indian Contract Act, 1932 as" Two or more persons are said to consent when they agree upon the same thing in the same sense". The consent given by the user creates a contract between the platform and the user. The user acknowledges our exclusive authority to amend the Policy and Terms without prior notice, with immediate effect.

TruPact is a digital platform designed to efficiently and fairly resolve civil and commercial disputes while maintaining legal integrity. By harnessing technology, TruPact simplifies the resolution process, providing a neutral and accessible environment for parties to address conflicts without the need for conventional court proceedings.
Collection of information

To optimize our Services during your interactions with us, including through emails or calls, we may request certain personally identifiable information and other information. Your consent is implied for such data collection. The information collected may include, but is not limited to the following:
1) Non-Personal Information
Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit, macro claim, outcome, settlement and dispute resolution related data, and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks.

Per Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and procedures and sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (hereinafter SPDI Rules), 'Personal Information' includes data identifying a natural person. Personal Information encompasses your email, name, and other pertinent personal particulars, including specific details concerning your dispute and evidence validating your claim, as applicable.

Under the IT Act read with its rules, sensitive data refers to information that, if disclosed, could result in harm or unauthorized access to an individual or organization, including financial, health, biometric, or personally identifiable data.

Non-sensitive information, pertains to data that, if disclosed, does not entail significant risks or harm to individuals or entities. TruPact will be free to use, collect and disclose information that is freely available in the public domain without your consent.
3) Payment Account Information
If you choose to avail any of our services through the platform, our third-party payment processors will collect your payment information. We do not store your payment information in our system.
Usage of Information

Personal Information or 'Sensitive Personal Data or Information' will be used by the platform:

Deletion of Data
If you wish to delete your data or withdraw consent on processing of your personal information to provide you Services, write to us at support@thetrupact.com.

The data will be deleted immediately on receiving such request and will not be retained or be revived on a future date, thereby will not be liable for such data.
Disclosure of Information

We may share your information in response to a request from a competent authority or a court of law be it judicial or quasi-judicial. It is to be noted that disclosure of necessary data to the Opposite Party, with all stakeholders of the particular case and with the TruPact team for case management will not amount to breach of Privacy.
Security Practices
[Rules 5(8) and 8 of SPDI Rules]
Your personal information is provided to our third parties service provider who help us to provide you services effectively. These third parties maintain ISO 27001 standards laid down in SPDI Rules to protect your data and are prohibited from using your data for any other purpose. TruPact follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to it. It is your diligence to protect against unauthorized access to your password, your computer and your mobile phone. TruPact shall not be responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties or events thatare beyond the reasonable control of TruPact
TruPact complies with the Online Dispute Resolution Standards postulated by the National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution (NCTDR) and the International Council for Online Dispute Resolution (ICODR)
Our Cookie Policy
Cookies are text information files that are placed on the user's device when the user visits the platform. Once you agree to allow our platform to use cookies, you also agree to use the data it collects regarding your online behaviour. After we use this data for aggregate analysis, the data is removed from our systems.

Grievance Redressal
You can contact us directly by writing to us to support@thetrupact.com in case of any difficulty in accessing or using any services of the platform. The grievances will be addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Dispute with TruPact
You have a dispute with the services provided by the platform or with the procedures followed, you can write to us through dispute@thetrupact.com. The dispute will be looked into and be done right accordingly.
